Our customer is the nation’s largest Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) representing 6 counties, 191 cities, and 19 million residents. One of its programs is Active Transportation Database (ATDB), wherein counts of bicycle, pedestrian, wheelchair, and scooter/skateboard are collected, stored, and provided for infrastructure and planning projects across the region. However, ATDB counts data was collected, stored, and managed manually. Tasks to counters were assigned over mails, counts were collected in Excel sheets and sent over to the county for storing and management.
AgreeYa delivered an end-to-end ATDB infrastructure management solution to inject efficiency, speed, and uncomplicate the process. The solution comprised of PWA based Counter App that would seamlessly work on all major mobile devices and web browsers, and an internal website where users can log in to the website to manage counters, count location, time, and assignments better. The AgreeYa-developed app was honored by the American Planning Association (APA) Los Angeles. Download the Case Study to read in details.
