Our customer is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of automobiles, commercial vehicles, and self-driving cars. Its Electronic Research Laboratory (ERL) division is responsible for enabling a seamless self-driving experience to the vehicle owners with innovations and enhancements. The employees leveraged an application to fetch data related to road, weather, traffic, vehicle dynamics, and statistics. However, the existing application had been developed a few years back, and it was now outdated. Various inefficiencies in the app made it difficult for the employees to access the mission-critical data in real time, impacting the data-driven decision-making process.
AgreeYa helped the customer in implementing and designing a new web-based Single Page Application (SPA) using Angular 2 and Material Design. The new app enables engineers to view data related to multiple test drives and gathered from in-vehicle devices (video cameras, GPS, LIDAR, ODB III sensors). It allows ERL employees to simultaneously choose which items to include and provide a synchronized playback of all that were selected.
